Variations on the 15th century Christmas carol Noel Nouvelet which is in the Dorian mode (often sung as "Sing We Now of Christmas" in English speaking countries).
I have provided several variations here, including versions with drone (reminiscent of bagpipes or hurdy gurdy), comic and curious rhythmical alternatives, soloing in the bass part and various harmonic curiosities.
