Description
A virtuoso piece (originally written for 2 concert flutes and alto flute and arranged here so that it can be performed by three contrabass instruments).
It is based on a mode that I invented called Delphine (a-a#-b-c-c#-f-f#-g) and contains glissandi, beat boxing and flutter tonguing
(except for the contrabassoon where such effects would be unnecessary or impossible).
It was created especially for Carla Rees (@rarescale).
