Description
A setting of the Magnificat and Nunc Dimittis for a-cappella choir (men's voices or mixed choir - ATBarB, AATB or SATB) using the music of part songs by Thomas F. Walmisley, Sir Arthur Sullivan and Samuel Webbe.
The original arrangement for men's voices (ATBarB) was created by Duncan Saunderson, I transposed them for the higher vocal combinations (although it has to be said the bass part in the SATB version is more suited to Baritones)
The zip file contains all three versions of the Magnificat and of the Nunc Dimittis
The sound sample is my one-man choir performance of the Nunc Dimittis in the original version.
