Description
This piece from the CD "Wildlife in the Nursery" (for children from 3 to 103) involves various instruments and a vocal solo (alto or baritone range).
The pdf file includes score and parts (voice, flute, vibraphone, marimba, guitar and bass) but not the elephants themselves (various soundfonts for sampler keyboard are available online) and the percussion, both of which can be improvised if required.
The audio and video are from the original "Wildlife in the Nursery" CD

The elephant has a wrinkly skin
This nose is thick and his tail is thin
Never forget the elephant and he won't forget you you you

The elephant has a very loud song
His tail is small and his nose is long
Never forget the elephant and he won't forget you you you

The elephant lives in a herd
His tail is cute but his nose absurd
Never forget the elephant and he won't forget you you you

The elephant is brave they say
His tail will swish and his nose will spray
Never forget the elephant and he won't forget you you you

The elephant has a sense of fun
His tail stands still but his nose takes your bun
Never forget the elephant and he won't forget you you you

The elephant has floppy ears
And he's been around for years and years
So never forget the elephant and he won't forget you you you
