Description
Strasbourg Rag (also called Strasrag) was written originally as a guitar "ragtime" solo (also available on this site) as an upbeat meditation on my leaving the lovely city of Strasbourg (where I lived, sang, loved and taught for 8 months) and my return to the UK.
This version uses the notes of the guitar original but switch the melody and accompaniment between the higher and lower instrument on each successive phrase.
