Description
This instrumental arrangement of the 11 Chorales of the St John Passion is a transcription from the original (transposed for certain ones), with numbers indicating where they appear in the work.
This will enable them to be included in a spoken recital of the Passion, as an instrumental sequence or as separate items.
I have replaced the fermatas, apart from those at the end of each chorale, with pauses (commas) since modern and romantic interpretations of fermatas can be excessively long.
The dynamics are merely suggestions.
