Description
Theobald Böhm (1794-1881) made a brilliant arrangement of Schubert's Serenade (Ständchen - "Leise flehen meine Lieder") for concert flute and piano (in D minor). This version is based on my original alto-flute and guitar setting of the song (in A minor) but is extended in line with the Böhm arrangement, allowing the alto-flute to blossom into lyrical variations of the melody.
